These two little cottages have an interesting history. The story we were told is that they were 1940 military barracks that were moved from MacDill Air Force Base in order to avoid the wrecking ball. For many years the unit closer to the street served as a general store and the other as more of a warehouse/storage for the general store. When the general store closed they both became private residences.

One cottage is a 2/1 and the other a 1/1. Both units have high ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, retro styled bathrooms, and butcher-block countertops in kitchens. They share a fenced back yard and have private porches front and back. The front porches are roomy enough for two people to lounge on while the rear porches are small but just perfect for potted flowers or a small herb garden.
